- Drain the coolant from the cooling system.
- Disconnect a socket and turn out the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid.
- Immerse the sensor in a vessel with water heated to a temperature of 70°C and measure the resistance of the sensor (pic. 19.72).

Nominal resistance of the coolant temperature sensor at 70°С: 104±13.5 Ohm
- Apply a thin coat of 3M™ AAD No. 4171 sealant to the sensor threads and screw the sensor into place (pic. 19.73).

- Connect the electrical connector to the coolant temperature sensor.
- Pour coolant into the cooling system.
