Removal
- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
- Press the injector control pulse generator connector lock in the location shown in Figure 6.61 and disconnect the connector from the injector control pulse generator.

- Loosen the nuts and remove the injector control pulse generator from the bracket (Fig. 6.62).

Warning: The wiring harness that connects the injector pulse generator to the injectors carries a large current, so the injector pulse generator becomes very hot. Be careful when removing this unit immediately after the engine is turned off.
- Unscrew the nut and remove the injector control pulse generator relay from the bracket.
- Unscrew the bolts and remove the bracket of the repeater and the injector control pulse generator.
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note: The tightening torque marked (*) in Figure 6.62 applies to bolts with markings.
