Removal
- Drain the coolant from the cooling system.
- Remove the air filter housing.
- Remove the bolts and remove the engine cover.
- Remove the air intake hose.
- Disconnect the connectors from the throttle servo and throttle position sensor (Fig. 6.52).

- Loosen the clamp and disconnect the coolant hose from the throttle body.
- Remove the bolts and remove the throttle assembly and gasket.
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
- If the throttle body has been replaced, initialize the electronic throttle control system.
- Connect the connectors to the throttle servo and throttle position sensor.
- Install the air intake hose.
- Install the engine cover.
- Install the air filter housing.
- Fill the engine cooling system with coolant.
Initialization
- Turn the ignition on and off within 1 second, then wait at least 10 seconds with the ignition off.
