Warning: When removing and installing the coolant temperature sensor, do not touch its connector (plastic part) with a tool.
1. Drain the coolant, disconnect the connector from the coolant temperature sensor and unscrew it (Fig. 6.25).

2. By heating the sensor in a vessel with water, measure the resistance between the contacts of the sensor connector (Fig. 6.26).

Nominal resistance, kOhm:
- at a temperature of 20°C: 2.1-2.7
- at a temperature of 80°C: 0.26-0.36

3. If the resistance differs from the required value, replace the coolant temperature sensor.
4. Apply a thin layer of sealant to the sensor threads (Fig. 6.27).

Recommended sealant: ЗМ NUT Locking Part 4171
5. Screw in the sensor and tighten it to 29 Nm.
