2. Measure the resistance between pins 5 and 6 of the connector.
Resistance, kOhm:
- - at a temperature of 20°C: 2.3-3.0
- - at a temperature of 80°C: 0.30-0.42
3. By heating the sensor with a stream of hot air from a hair dryer, check the change in the resistance of the temperature sensor of the air entering the engine, which should decrease as the temperature increases (Fig. 6.24).

4. If the resistance of the sensor does not decrease when it is heated, replace the sensor.
