Checking the fuel pump pressure control relay and throttle actuator

To check, connect an ohmmeter to contacts 1 and 3 of the relay, and it should show an open circuit. Then, with one additional wire, connect contact 2 of the relay winding to the "ground", and with the second additional wire, connect contact 4 of the relay winding to the positive terminal of the battery, and the relay should turn on (click) and the ohmmeter should show a short circuit (resistance 0 Ohm) (Fig. 6.20. 6.21). Otherwise, the relay is faulty and must be replaced.
