2. Loosen the upper adjusting nut of the selector lever.
3. Check that the ignition switch lock switch is in position N.
4. Pull the gearshift control cable slightly in the direction of the arrow shown in Figure 13.35 and tighten the nut.

Tightening torque: 12 Nm
5. Make sure that the automatic transmission shifts into the mode corresponding to the selector lever position and operates correctly in this mode.
