1. Drain the transmission fluid from the automatic transmission and remove the control valve body cover.

2. The pressure in the downshift clutch line is adjusted using the adjusting screw shown in Figure 13.31. When the adjusting screw is turned to the left, the pressure increases.

Note: Pressure adjustment to nominal values is possible when 1st or 2nd gear is engaged.


Nominal pressure: 1010-1050 kPa

Pressure change when turning the screw 1 revolution: 35 kPa


3. Replace the valve body cover and fill the transmission with transmission fluid.

4. Check the control system pressure. If necessary, readjust the system pressure.
