1. The front suspension uses MacPherson struts (1.1a and 1.1b). The steering knuckles are mounted on the suspension arms. The anti-roll bar, mounted on the front suspension crossmember and connecting the suspension arms, reduces the vehicle's tilt when turning.

2. The rear suspension uses longitudinal arms or a torsion axle (1.2a and 1.2b). Some models are equipped with an anti-roll bar.

3. The rack-and-pinion steering mechanism is mounted on the rear wall of the engine compartment and operates the steering rods, which are connected to the steering knuckles. The steering column is injury-safe and folds in the event of an accident.
