Removal



1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Raise the vehicle and support it on supports.

3. Remove the oil pan from under the engine, remove the dipstick and drain the engine oil.

4. Unscrew the front exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold.

5. Unscrew the bolts (13.5a



13.5b Tap the pan with a wooden mallet and lower the oil pan.


If the tray is stuck, tap it with a wooden hammer (13.5b).

6. Clean the oil pan and mating surfaces. Remove any traces of the old gasket.

Installation





13.7 If the tray does not have a gasket, apply adhesive sealant

1. Sealant; 2. The sealant must lie in the groove; 3. The sealant should be applied from the inside of the bolt

7. If the oil pan does not have a gasket, apply a 4 mm bead of adhesive sealant to the mating surface of the pan (13.7). If a gasket is used, glue it with a thin layer of sealant.

8. Replace the pan and tighten the bolts by hand. Then tighten the bolts in a diagonal sequence to the specified torque.

9. Install the remaining parts.

10. Fill the engine with engine oil.
