Removing
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal wire.
2. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands.
3. Remove the mudguard from under the engine, remove the dipstick and drain the engine oil.
4. Unscrew the front exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold.

5. Unscrew the bolts (13.5a
13.5b Tap the sump with a wooden mallet and lower the oil sump.
If the pallet is stuck, tap it with a wooden mallet (13.5b).
6. Clean the oil pan and mating surfaces. Clean off any traces of the old gasket.
Installation
13.7 If the pallet does not have a gasket, apply adhesive sealant
1. Sealant; 2. The sealant must lie in the groove; 3. Sealant must be applied on the inside of the bolt
7. If the oil pan does not have a gasket, apply a 4mm bead of sealant to the mating surface of the pan (13.7). If a gasket is used, apply a thin layer of sealant to it.
8. Put the pan back in place and tighten the bolts by hand. Then tighten the bolts in a diagonal sequence to the required tightening torques.
9. Install the remaining parts.
10. Fill the engine with engine oil.
