2. When checking, the engine must be slightly raised to relieve pressure from the fasteners.
3. Raise the vehicle and secure it on jack stands. Place a jack under the oil pan and raise the engine.
4. Check the rubber mounts.
5. Lower the engine and tighten the fasteners.
6. To reduce wear, shock absorbers can be coated with a special compound.
Replacement
7. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery, raise the car and secure it on props.

8. Remove the fastener clips and remove the fasteners (17.8a, 17.8b, 17.8c, 17.8d, 17.8e).
9. Install new shock absorbers in the mounts.
10. Install the fasteners in place.
