Checking the lambda probe (Mitsubishi Colt 4)

Remove the lambda probe connector (plug).



Connect an ohmmeter and check the ground wire.

Put on the connector.

After starting the engine, warm it up to the operating temperature of the coolant from 80 to 90°C.

Disconnect the lambda probe connector again.

Connect the voltmeter to contact (2) of the connector and to ground.



Start the engine again and measure the output voltage of the lambda probe. The required value is about 1 V.
