Installing the rocker arm axle



1. On SOHC 12V engines: the rocker shaft with the larger chamfer at the end is positioned in the direction of the flywheel. On SOHC 16V engines: the rocker shaft with the larger chamfer at the end is positioned in the direction of the timing belt.

Attention! There are 8 lubrication holes on the intake valve rocker shaft (Figure 3.36).

2. Install the rocker arm shaft with the oil holes facing the cylinder head.

3. The rocker arms and rocker arm axles are installed in accordance with the identification marks (Figure 3.37, 3.38).
