Attention! When removing and installing the sensor, do not touch its plastic part.
1. Remove the sensor and disconnect the wiring connector from it (Figure 8.17).

2. Measure the resistance of the sensor by placing the measuring part in warm water (Figure 8.18).
Normal value: 2.1-2.7 kOhm at 20°C, 0.26-0.36 kOhm at 80°C.

3. If the value deviates from the normal value, replace the sensor.
4. Apply sealant ЗМ Nut Locking Teil N г. 4171 or similar to the threaded part of the sensor (Figure 8.19).

5. Tighten the sensor to a torque of 29 Nm.
