Model with 4M4 engine
1. Install the lower guide plate (16).
2. Install the guide plate (15).
3. Install the tensioner lever shaft assembly (14).
4. Install the tensioner lever (13).
5. Install the timing chain (12).
Note: Align the timing marks on the camshaft sprockets and timing chain.
6. Install the camshaft sprocket (11).
7. Install the intermediate washer (10).
8. Install the spring pin (9).
9. Install the oil spray nozzle (8).
10. Install intermediate washer A (7).
11. Install the timing chain bracket (6).
12. Install the crankshaft contact disk (5).
13. Install the stiffening rib of the attachment chain casing (4).
14. Install the wiring clamp (3).
15. Install the attachment drive chain cover (2).
16. Install the electrical wiring mounting bracket (1).
17. Install the power steering pump.
18. Install the water pump.
19. Install the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors.
20. Install the engine oil pan.
21. Install the camshafts.
22. Install the air intake tube and intake manifold assembly.
23. Install the turbocharger assembly and exhaust manifold assembly.
24. Install the cylinder head gasket and cylinder head.
25. Install the vacuum pump assembly.
26. Install the fuel injectors with the fuel rail in the bore.
27. Install the throttle body.
28. Install the vacuum tube, heater return tube and thermostat housing.
29. Install the thermostat.
30. Install the exhaust gas recirculation system cooler and the exhaust gas recirculation system cooler bracket.
31. Install the air conditioning compressor drive belt, alternator drive belt and crankshaft pulley.
32. Install the cooling fan and cooling fan clutch.
33. Install the upper radiator shroud cover.
34. Install the air filter and air intake duct.
35. Install the engine cover.
36. Install the main and auxiliary batteries.
37. Fill and check the engine oil level.
38. Fill and check the engine coolant level.
39. Bleed the fuel line.
40. Check and adjust the drive belt tension if necessary.
41. Install the lower support plate and engine crankcase guard.
