a. Before doing any work, clean the engine compartment and the outside of the engine with some solvent.

b. To prevent damage to the paintwork of the front parts of the body, cover them with special pads or rags.

c. If you find a vacuum, exhaust, oil or coolant leak, you can replace the gasket or seal without removing the engine from the vehicle.

g. Replacement of exhaust manifold gaskets, oil pan gasket, crankshaft seals and cylinder head gasket.

d. External engine components such as exhaust manifolds, oil pan (and oil pump), water pump, starter, alternator, distributor and fuel system components can be removed without removing the engine.

e. Without removing the engine, it is also possible to carry out maintenance on valve parts, replace sprockets and the timing belt.
