Warning! The air conditioning system is under high pressure. No replacement of parts is allowed until the system has been discharged at a service station. Wear safety glasses when replacing air conditioning system parts.


Removal



1. The air conditioner intake pipe is located in the front engine compartment.



14.2 Components of the air conditioner intake pipe.

1. Pressure relay; 2. Air conditioning system pipes; 3. Bolt; 4. Viewing window


2. Disconnect the connection connector from the pressure switch (14.2).

3. Disconnect the two air conditioning pipes from the intake pipe.

4. Immediately seal open areas of the air conditioning system to prevent dirt and moisture from entering the system.

5. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the intake pipe from the vehicle.

Installation



6. Install new rings and lubricate them with oil.

7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

8. If the air conditioner intake pipe is installed, add 10 g of oil.

9. Check the air conditioning system pressure and tightness.
