Heater Radiator — Replacement (Mitsubishi Colt 2)

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Drain the coolant.

3. Disconnect the hoses from the heater control valve.

4. Remove the instrument panel trim panel and center console (if equipped).

5. Remove the heating system control panel and disconnect the heater hoses from the heater radiator pipes.

6. Remove the radio, then unscrew the instrument panel mounting bolts.

7. Disconnect the air duct without removing the rest of the heating system parts.

8. Unscrew the bolts and remove the heater from the vehicle.

9. Unscrew the bolts and remove the locking strip from the housing.

10. Remove the heater radiator from the casing and install a new one.

11. Reinstall all components of the heating system, after checking the operation of the air damper.

12. Install the remaining parts in the reverse order of removal.
