Elements of the working brake cylinder
1 - anther; 2 - piston; 3 - cuff; 4 - body; 5 - spring; 6 - bleed nipple.


Disassembly



Remove the dust cover.

Remove the pistons as an assembly.

Remove the sealing rings from the pistons.

Remove the spring.

Unscrew the bleed screw.

Check the removed components for wear and damage.

Assembly







Assembly is carried out in reverse order.



Before assembly, flush the piston and cylinder with brake fluid.

Lubricate the piston sealing rings and special tool with brake fluid (see Figure XA20.018).

Place the piston cuff (2) on a special mandrel so that the sharp edge faces upward and then, lowering it down the mandrel, install it in the piston groove (1) (see Figure XA20.019).



Repair kit for the brake master cylinder
1 - anther; 2 - piston sealing rings; 3 - plastic grease.
