Removing
Mark with paint the position of the rim on the wheel hub.
Install the front of the car on the goats.
Remove the wheel.
Fully release the handbrake and disconnect the handbrake cable from the brake caliper.
Remove the brake caliper and, with the brake pads installed, hang it on the body with a wire, avoiding tension or twisting of the brake hose.
To completely remove the caliper, disconnect the brake hose by unscrewing the union nut while holding the hex on the brake hose. Then, after depressing the clip of the brake hose holder, remove the brake hose from the holder.
Installation
It is advisable to simultaneously replace the brake discs on the same axle.
Check the moment of pulling off the bearing by attaching one end of the cord to the hub studs, and by connecting a spring scale to the other; pull at a 90°angle to the studs until the hub begins to rotate.
Tighten the caliper fixing bolts to 60 Nm.
Insert the brake hose, if removed, into the holder and secure with a clip. Tighten the union nut of the brake pipe with a torque of approx. 15 Nm.
Bleed the air from the brake system if it has opened.
Loosen the wheel nuts.
Connect the handbrake cable.
Measure breakaway torque with brake pads installed.
After turning on the engine, let it idle. Place the gearbox in neutral.
Hold down the brake pedal for approximately 5 seconds.
Turn off the engine.
Rotate the wheel hub 10 turns forward.
Measure the wheel hub breakaway moment. If the difference between the measured value and the breakaway torque measured with the brake pads removed exceeds the required value with a ventilated brake disc of 70 N, disassemble and repair the brake caliper.
Put the wheels in accordance with the marks made, screw the wheel nuts Lower the car and tighten the nuts crosswise.
Bring the fluid level in the reservoir to the MAX mark.
Adjust the handbrake.
