Depending on the model and year of manufacture, cars are equipped with five-speed gearboxes of various modifications.
When starting and accelerating the car, the torque on the wheels must change from the maximum to the minimum value. Therefore, in the transmission between the wheels and the engine, a gearbox is installed, the toothed pinions of which can engage alternately in different combinations, forming several gears.
