Checking and adjusting the clearance between the primary piston and the push rod (Mitsubishi Colt 5)

1. Gap A is calculated based on dimensions B, C and D (Figure 14.21): A = B - C - D.

Nominal value: 0.65-0.85 mm.



2. If the clearance is not as required, adjust the length of the push rod by turning the push rod bolt (Figure 14.22).
