Main shaft

1. Check the surface condition of the main shaft at the location where the needle bearing is installed. There should be no signs of abnormal wear, burning or other noticeable external defects.
2. Check the spline of the main shaft. There should be no significant wear or other noticeable external defects.
Needle bearing
1. Assemble the input shaft, shaft bushings and gears, then turn the assembly to check for smooth rotation and abnormal noise.
2. Check the bracket for deformation.
Synchronizer rings
1. There should be no signs of intensive wear or cracks.
2. There should be no traces of abrasive wear, rust, cracks or other noticeable defects on the inner surface.

3. Push the synchronizer towards the transmission gear. Measure the gap 'A'. If the measured value is less than 0.3 mm, replace the synchronizer ring with a new part.
