Traction Control (TCL) operates at speeds below 40 km/h.
When the traction control system is operating, some vibration will be transmitted to the car body and a howling and noise from the electric motor will be heard from the engine compartment. This is the result of normal operation of the system and does not indicate a malfunction.
Driving tips
TCL traction control does not control the brakes. Always reduce vehicle speed before turning.
On snowy or icy roads, drive your car at low speed and use snow chains.
When the traction control system is operating, the corresponding indicator lamp lights up. This means that the road is slippery and the vehicle is accelerating too much. In this case, release the accelerator pedal slightly and maintain a moderate speed.
Never mix tires of different sizes as this may impair the traction control system and make it difficult to drive your vehicle safely.

When the ignition key is turned to the "ON" position, the control lamp 14 (see Fig. 1.16) of the anti-skid system lights up and goes out after a few seconds.
If the traction control system is activated while driving, the traction control system operation lamp comes on.
