Functional check
1. Disconnect the air pipe from the throttle assembly.
2. Turn on the ignition.
3. Make sure that the throttle valve opens according to the amount of pressure on the accelerator pedal.
Checking the resistance of the servo drive winding
1. Disconnect the throttle servo connector.
2. Measure the resistance between the contacts of the throttle servo connector (Fig. 6.31).

Resistance between contacts 1-3 and 2-4 at 20°C: 1.35-1.65 Ohm
3. Make sure that none of the connector contacts are shorted to the throttle body.
