Warnings
  • 1. Do not move the accelerator pedal position sensor unless absolutely necessary, as its position is adjusted with high precision at the factory (Fig. 6.9).
  • 2. If the sensor position has been disturbed, restore its position as follows.

1. Remove the accelerator pedal.

2. Connect the MUT-II device to the diagnostic connector.

3. Loosen the accelerator pedal position sensor mounting bolts until it can be turned.

4. Make sure that the accelerator pedal lever rests against the stopper (Fig. 6.10).

5. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.



6. Slowly turn the accelerator pedal position sensor until the desired output voltage is obtained.

Sensor output voltage: 0.985-1.085V

7. Securely tighten the accelerator pedal position sensor mounting bolts..

8. Install the accelerator pedal.
