1. Start the engine and warm it up to a temperature of 80°C, then turn it off.
2. Disconnect the air intake hose from the throttle assembly.
3. Spray aerosol cleaning solvent into the throttle body through the intake port and wait 5 minutes.
4. Start the engine several times and let it idle for 1 minute.
5. If the throttle body contamination is still not removed, repeat steps (3) and (4).
6. Connect the air intake hose.
7. Use the MUT-II to clear the diagnostic trouble codes or disconnect the negative battery cable for 10 seconds, then reconnect it to the negative battery terminal. Start the engine and let it idle for about 10 minutes.
