Types of front suspension lower arms used
A - models with a bushing for mounting the lower arm; B - models with a bracket for mounting the lower arm; 1, 2 - lower arm; 3 - ball joint; 4 - front lower arm bushing; 5 - mounting sleeve; 6 - mounting bracket.


Removal



Loosen the ball joint pin nut, but do not remove it from the pin completely. Use a puller and pull the ball joint pin out of the front suspension strut.



Steering rod puller - "goose" (universal)


After unscrewing the nut, remove the bolt and disconnect the front bushing of the lower arm.

Unscrew the self-locking nut and remove the rubber bushings and sleeve.

For models with a bushing, remove the two bolts and disconnect the rear lower arm bushing.



Models with bracket, unscrew the two bolts and detach the support bracket.

Remove the lower control arm assembly.

Check removed parts for wear and damage.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:

Tighten the self-locking nut so that the protrusion of the threaded portion of the stabilizer bar mounting bolt (A) corresponds to the nominal value of 22 mm.



Adjust the front wheel alignment angles.
