Varieties of used lower front suspension arms
A - models with a bushing for mounting the lower arm; B - models with a bracket for fastening the lower arm; 1, 2 - lower arm; 3 - ball bearing; 4 - front bushing of the lower arm; 5 - fastening sleeve; 6 - fastening bracket.
Removing
Loosen the ball stud nut, but do not completely remove it from the stud. Using a puller, remove the ball joint pin from the front suspension strut.
Tie rod puller - «gander» (universal)
After unscrewing the nut, remove the bolt and disconnect the lower arm front bushing.
Loosen the self-locking nut and remove the rubber bushings and sleeve.
Models with a bushing, unscrew the two bolts and disconnect the lower arm rear bushing.
Bracket models, unscrew the two bolts and detach the support bracket.
Remove the lower arm assembly.
Check the removed parts for wear and damage.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
Tighten the self-locking nut so that the protrusion of the threaded part of the bolt (A) mounts of the anti-roll bar corresponded to the nominal value of 22 mm.
Adjust the angles of the front wheels.
