Removal
After removing the decorative trim, remove the adapter retainer.
Pull the speedometer cable slightly into the vehicle and remove the rear portion of the adapter from the cable.
Turn the adapter (2) so that its slot coincides with the whisker (1) on the speedometer cable side, and remove the adapter by moving it backwards.
Tie a cord to the end of the speedometer cable that is inside the car. Then pull the cable into the engine compartment.
Remove the cotter pin and then disconnect the speedometer from the transmission.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order using the cord tied earlier.
