Valve Stem Guide Bushing — Check (Mitsubishi Colt 5)

1. Measure the clearance between the valve guide and the valve stem (Figure 3.48). If the value is greater than the permissible value, replace the valve guide or valve (or both parts). The clearance values between the valve guide and the valve stem are given in Table 3.5.
