Main Bearing Shells — Installation (Mitsubishi Colt 5)

1. The bearing shells are selected in accordance with the identification marks or color coding of the crankshaft, for which purpose Table 3.8 is used. If the bearing shells cannot be identified, the crankshaft journals should be measured and the main bearing shells should be selected based on the dimensions obtained.
