Attention! After installing the pump, it is necessary to set the fuel injection moment, for which a special extension with an indicator will be required to measure the protrusion of the fuel injection pump control rod. In the absence of such equipment, it is prohibited to remove the pump and perform any work on it.
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery from ground
2. Remove the upper timing belt cover.
3. Unscrew the fuel injection pump sprocket mounting nut.

4. Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to TDC of the compression stroke, check that all marks match.
5. Press off the fuel injection pump sprocket using a puller and remove the key. After removing the sprocket, rotation of the crankshaft is not allowed.
6. Disconnect the compensator hose from the pump.
7. Disconnect the fuel hoses from the pump, wrap them with rags, and immediately plug the holes.
8. Disconnect all wires from the pump.
9. Loosen the fitting nuts and remove the tubes.
10. Unscrew the 2 mounting bolts, remove the nuts and washers, remove the pump and bracket.
Caution! When removing the pump, do not touch the accelerator pump or idle levers.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
2. Tighten the bracket bolts to a torque of 35 Nm, the pump bolts (nuts) to a torque of 26 Nm, and the fitting nuts to a torque of 29 Nm.
3. Set the fuel injection timing, bleed the air, and then install the belt cover.
