Removal

• Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
• Loosen the nuts, disconnect the exhaust inlet pipe from the exhaust manifold and remove the exhaust inlet pipe gasket (Fig. 3.59).

• Remove the bolt and the engine oil dipstick guide tube.
• Using a special key with a slot for the wire, unscrew the front oxygen concentration sensor (Fig. 3.60).

• Remove the bolts and the exhaust manifold cover.
• Remove the bolts and bracket (B) of the exhaust manifold.
• Remove the bolts and engine bracket.
• Loosen the nuts and remove the exhaust manifold and exhaust manifold gasket.

Installation

• Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Warning: When installing the outlet connector, use a new gasket and new self-locking nuts.
