Engine overhaul — assembly order (Mitsubishi Colt 2)

1. Before starting assembly, check that all necessary spare parts, gaskets and seals, as well as the necessary tools, are available. The engine assembly must be carried out in the following order:

• Piston rings
• Crankshaft and main bearings
• Pistons and connecting rods
• Oil pump
• Rear oil seal housing
• Oil pan
• Cylinder head, camshaft and rocker shafts
• Timing belt and sprockets
• Timing Belt Cover
• Intake and exhaust manifolds
• Valve cover
• Engine back plate
• Flywheel/drive disk
