Attention! When starting the engine for the first time, make sure you have a fire extinguisher!
1. After installing the engine, check all hoses of the cooling and lubrication system again. Add transmission fluid if necessary.
2. With the spark plugs removed and the engine starting system turned off, crank the engine with the starter until the low oil pressure warning light goes out.
3. Install the spark plugs, connect the high voltage wires and connect the engine start system.
4. Start the engine. It may take some time to build up the correct pressure in the fuel system, but the engine should start without any problems.
5. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature. Check engine and transmission for fuel, oil, coolant and automatic transmission fluid leaks (if it is installed).
6. Stop the engine and check the oil and coolant levels again.
7. Accelerate the vehicle to 50-90 km/h at full engine speed, then wait until the speed decreases to 50 km/h with the throttle closed. Repeat this operation 10-1-2 times. This will put stress on the piston rings and force them to press against the cylinder walls. Check the oil and coolant levels again.
8. Do not give a heavy load on the engine for the first 800 km of run (do not move constantly at a high speed) and constantly monitors the oil level. The engine may consume oil during this period.
9. After 800-950 km of run, change the oil and oil filter.
10. After that, the engine can be given a normal load, however, do not overload it.
11. After 3500 km, change the oil and oil filter again.
