Warning! Remember that the dust generated during operation of the brake mechanisms may contain asbestos, which is extremely harmful to human health. Never blow off dust with compressed air or inhale it - wear a protective mask or respirator when servicing the mechanisms. Never use gasoline or petroleum-based solvents to wipe the brake system components - use only branded cleaning agents or methyl alcohol!

1. The disc brake pads are equipped with wear indicators that begin to produce a high-frequency sound (squealing) when the friction linings wear down to a thickness of less than 2 mm.

2. The condition of the brake pads can be assessed by visual inspection through a special window provided in the caliper body. The standard thickness of the pads is 10 mm, the minimum permissible is 2.0 mm.

3. Replacement of worn brake pads must be carried out simultaneously on both brake mechanisms of one axle of the vehicle.

4. If there is uneven wear of the pads, the freedom of movement of the piston in the cylinder of the corresponding caliper should be checked.
