Attention! Checking the boost pressure should be carried out by two inspectors in a place where acceleration of the car is possible with the accelerator pedal depressed to the full.
Attention! The gauge pressure should be read by an examiner seated in the right front seat.
1. Disconnect the hose from the fuel injection pressure corrector of the injection pump, connect the control pressure gauge through the tee and transfer it to the car interior.
2. Accelerate the car in II gear with the accelerator pedal fully depressed and at a crankshaft speed of about 3000 rpm, check the boost pressure on the pressure gauge, which must correspond to the values \u200b\u200bgiven in subsection 6.1.
3. If the value obtained is less than the required value, the reasons for this may be a malfunction of the boost controller, leaks in the air lines and hoses of the turbocharger, and a malfunction of the turbocharger.
4. If the value obtained is greater than normal, the following malfunctions in the boost control system are possible:
- disconnection or damage to the vacuum hose of the boost control pneumatic actuator;
- malfunction of the boost controller;
- boost pressure valve malfunction.
