Caution! The boost pressure test must be performed by two testers in a location where the vehicle can accelerate with the accelerator pedal fully depressed.
Attention! The pressure on the pressure gauge must be read by the inspector sitting in the right front seat.

1. Disconnect the hose from the fuel injection pump boost pressure corrector, connect the control pressure gauge through the tee and move it into the car interior.
2. Accelerate the car in 2nd gear with the accelerator pedal pressed all the way down and at a crankshaft speed of about 3000 rpm, check the boost pressure using the pressure gauge, which should correspond to the values given in the subsection 6.1.
3. If the obtained value is less than required, the reasons for this may be a malfunction of the boost controller, leaks in the air ducts and turbocharger hoses, and malfunction of the turbocharger.
4. If the obtained value is greater than normal, the following malfunctions in the boost control system are possible:
- disconnection or damage to the vacuum hose of the pneumatic drive of the boost controller;
- boost controller malfunction;
- boost pressure valve malfunction.
