Before measuring the front wheel alignment angles, place the vehicle on a level, horizontal surface. Before adjustment, check that the front suspension, steering and wheels are in good technical condition.
Front wheel alignment
Nominal value:
- In the center of the tire tread 0±5 mm
- Convergence angle (one wheel) 0°00'±0°12'
1. If the toe-in does not correspond to the nominal value, adjust the toe-in as follows: loosen the clamps of the steering rod boots and rotate the right and left steering rods by the same angles in opposite directions.
Note: The amount of toe will decrease as the left tie rod is rotated toward the front of the vehicle and the right tie rod is rotated toward the rear of the vehicle.
2. Use a turning radius measuring stand to check that the steering wheel turning angles comply with the nominal values.

Negative toe-in of the steering wheels when turning
In addition to checking the front wheel toe-in, it is recommended to check the negative toe-in of the steering wheels when turning, especially in cases where the vehicle has been in an accident or there is a possibility that the vehicle has previously been in an accident. Perform this check when turning left and right.
Nominal value: 22° (for the inner wheel when the outer wheel is turned 20°)
Camber, longitudinal and transverse tilt of the steering axis
Nominal values:
- Camber [CAMBER] (difference between right and left wheel less than 30'): 0°00'±30'
- Caster angle [CASTER] (difference between right and left wheel less than 30'): 3°39'±1°00'
- KINGPIN INCLINATION: 11°30'
Note: The front wheel camber and longitudinal tilt of the steering axis are adjusted at the factory and cannot be adjusted during operation. If the front wheel alignment does not correspond to the nominal value, check the front suspension components and replace any deformed or damaged parts. For vehicles with aluminum wheels, use a special mount to install a sensor on the wheel drive shaft to check the alignment angles of the steered wheels. Tighten the special fastener to the same tightening torque as the wheel drive shaft fastening nut (196-255 N·m).
Caution: Do not load the front wheel hub bearing with the weight of the vehicle when the drive shaft mounting nuts are loose.
