Model with 6V31 engine





1. Remove the crankshaft sprocket (1).

2. Remove the cotter pin (2).

3. Remove the front crankshaft oil seal (3).



1. Remove the timing belt.

2. Remove the crankshaft position sensor (1).

3. Remove the crankshaft sprocket (2).

4. Remove the flange (3).

5. Remove the timing belt washer (4).

6. Remove the key (5).

7. Remove the front crankshaft oil seal (6).

8. Remove the gearbox assembly.

9. Unscrew the drive disk bolt (7).

Caution: Do not remove the flywheel mounting bolt indicated by the arrow. If this bolt is removed, the flywheel will be unbalanced and damaged.


10. Remove the adapter plate (8).

11. Remove the drive disk (9).



12. Remove the adapter plate (10).

13. Remove the rear crankshaft oil seal (11).

Model with 4M4 engine



Note: The operations for removing the crankshaft seals on a vehicle with a 4M4 engine are similar to the operations for removing the crankshaft seals on a vehicle with a 6G7 engine.
