Model with 6V31 engine



Note: When installing, tighten the bolts to the torques shown in the figure.


1. Install the crankshaft pulley (6).

2. Install the crankshaft pulley washer (5).

3. Tighten the central bolt of the crankshaft pulley (4).

4. Install the power steering pump drive belt (3).

5. Install the power steering pump drive belt tensioner pulley bracket (2).

6. Install the alternator drive belt (1).

7. Check and adjust the tension of the generator drive belt.

8. Install the lower side engine protection.

Model with 6G7 engine



1. Install the crankshaft pulley (4).

2. Install the crankshaft pulley washer (3).

3. Tighten the central bolt of the crankshaft pulley (2).

Tightening torque: 185 Nm.

4. Install the drive belt (1).

1) Install the drive belt as shown in the figure.



2) Insert the special tool into the holes of the drive belt tensioner.

3) Turn the drive belt tensioner clockwise and remove the wrench.

4) Adjust the tension of the drive belt.

5. Install the cooling fan and cooling fan clutch assembly.



6. Install the air intake duct.

7. Install the lower support plate and engine crankcase guard.

Model with 4M4 engine



1. Install the crankshaft pulley (5).

2. Install the crankshaft pulley washer (4).

3. Tighten the central bolt of the crankshaft pulley (3).

Tightening torque: 185 Nm.

4. Install the alternator drive belt (2).

5. Install the air conditioning compressor drive belt (1).

6. Check and adjust the drive belt tension.

7. Install the upper radiator shroud cover.
