Fuel system tightness — check (Mitsubishi Colt 4)

Connect the tester to the diagnostic connector.

Disconnect the intermediate injector connector.

Turn the ignition key to the ON position.

Select the required item from the tester description.

Turn the engine crankshaft with the starter for 2 seconds, visually check for fuel leaks through the connections.

After turning the engine crankshaft with the starter, measure the fuel pressure 20 seconds after the end of cranking the crankshaft. The required value is at least 1 MPa.

If the fuel pressure is less than 1 MPa, this means there are leaks in the high-pressure fuel system.
