When working with the removal of elements of the fuel system, it is necessary to first relieve the fuel pressure in the fuel line. For this:
Remove the back seat.
Remove the protective cover.
Disconnect connector (arrow) fuel pump.
Connect a special tester to a diagnostic socket.
WARNING: Switch off the ignition before connecting or disconnecting the special tester.
Turn the ignition key to the ON position (ON).
After selecting the appropriate item from the tester menu, turn the engine crankshaft with a starter for 2 seconds.
If the engine does not start, use a tester to make sure that the fuel pressure does not exceed 0.5 MPa. Then turn the ignition key to the OFF position (OFF).
If the engine starts, relieve the fuel pressure in the line as follows:
- Turning the ignition key to the OFF position (OFF), stop the engine;
- After disconnecting one of the connectors of the ignition coils, turn the engine crankshaft with a starter for 2 seconds.
If the engine does not start, use a tester to make sure that the fuel pressure does not exceed 0.5 MPa Then turn the ignition key to the OFF position (OFF).
If the engine still starts, then turn it off by increasing the speed and at the same time make sure with the help of a tester that the fuel pressure in the system does not exceed 0.5 MPa. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position (OFF).
Connect the ignition coil connector.
Disconnect the special tester.
Connect the fuel pump connector and install the protective cover and rear seat.
