Caution! Before removing, mark the vacuum hose to avoid confusion later.


1. Disconnect the vacuum hoses (with black and red stripes) from the solenoid valve.

2. Disconnect the wiring connector.

3. Connect the vacuum pump to the valve nipple A (Figure 6.8).

4. Check the tightness of the valve with and without connecting the battery voltage to the electromagnetic valve:
  • when connected to the battery terminals - the vacuum decreases;
  • without connection to the terminals - the vacuum is maintained.

5. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the solenoid valve (Figure 6.9). The nominal value is 36-44 Ohm (at 20°C).
