Disassembly
To disassemble the front disc brake caliper, perform the following steps in sequence.
Pic. 14.24. Front disc brake caliper: 1 - bolt (27 Nm); 2 - bolt (7 Nm); 3 - guide pin; 4 - anther; 5 - piston sealing ring; 6 - piston; 7 - piston boot; 8 - caliper bracket; 9 - internal brake shoe; 10 - external brake shoe; 11 - platinum of the outer brake shoe; 12 - support
1. Remove two bolts 1 (pic. 14.24) caliper mountings.
2. Remove bracket 8 of the caliper.
3. Unscrew guide pin 3.
4. Remove boot 4.

5. Remove the piston (pic. 14.25). To do this, place a block of wood between the piston and the outside of the caliper body. To remove the boot and piston, apply compressed air to the brake hose opening.
Attention! If air is suddenly introduced into the brake cylinder body, the piston will fly out and damage the caliper body. Blow compressed air gradually.
6. Remove the piston boot 7 (see fig. 14.24).
7. Remove the O-ring with your finger.
Attention! To prevent damage to the inner surface of the working brake cylinder, do not use a flathead screwdriver or other tool.
8. Flush piston and cylinder surfaces with trichlorethylene, alcohol, or recommended DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid.
Examination
1. Check the brake cylinder for wear, damage or rust.
2. Check the piston surface for wear, damage or rust.
3. Check the caliper body and bushings for wear.
4. Check the brake pads for damage or oiling, and the metal bases of the pads for damage.
Assembly
Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.

Before installing the guide pins, apply grease from the repair kit to the working surface of the pin and into the hole in the caliper bracket that the pin enters (pic. 14.26).
