2. First adjust the clearances in the intake 1 and 2 and exhaust 1 and 3 valves (pic. 2.17a,b).

3. Loosen the adjusting bolt locknut. Using a measuring pin, adjust the valve clearance correctly by turning the adjusting bolt (pic. 2.18).

Normal value with a cold engine: inlet valve - 0.09 mm, exhaust valve - 0.17 mm.
4. After fixing the adjusting bolt with a screwdriver, tighten the locknut.
5. Rotate the crankshaft 360 degrees clockwise.
6. Then adjust the clearances in the valves shown in Figure 2.19a,b.
