19. Increased fuel consumption
1. Air filter is dirty or clogged (see Chapter 1).
2. Incorrect setting of ignition timing (see Chapter 1).
3. Sticking of the air damper or its incorrect adjustment (carburetor models) (see Chapter 1).
4. Incorrect functioning of the system for monitoring the emission of toxic substances into the atmosphere (see Chapter 6).
5. Malfunction of the fuel or electrical system (see Chapter 4 и 5).
6. Excessive wear or damage to the internal components of the fuel injection system or carburetor (see Chapter 4).
7. Low tire pressure or incorrect tire size (see Chapter 1).
20. Fuel leak and/or fuel smell
1. Leak in the fuel supply line or in the vent line (see Chapter 4).
2. Overfilling the fuel tank. Fill only to the automatic cut-off.
3. Clogged tank of the system for monitoring the emission of gaseous substances into the atmosphere (see Chapter 1 и 6).
4. Leaks of vapor from the system lines (see Chapter 4).
5. Excessive wear of the internal components of the fuel injection system or carburetor (see Chapter 4).
