Models with carburetor engine

On these models, the fuel system consists of a fuel tank, two fuel filters, a fuel pump, an air filter and a two-chamber carburetor.

The Fully Fuel Capable (FBC) carburetor used on 1984 and later models is controlled by an electronic control unit that monitors changes in engine performance using various sensors, compares the received data with parameters stored in memory, and adjusts fuel delivery accordingly using solenoids installed in the carburetor.

Models with electronic fuel injection

Models with Multi-Point Fuel Injection (MPI)

The fuel system of these models consists of a fuel tank, two fuel filters, an electric fuel pump, a fuel pressure regulator, a solenoid pressure regulating valve, a fuel manifold, injectors and an air filter.

The electronic control unit receives information about the engine operation from various sensors and accordingly changes the time interval for which the injectors located in each of the cylinders are opened.

Models with two-point fuel injection system

The fuel system consists of a fuel tank, two fuel filters, an electric fuel pump, a fuel pressure regulator, two injectors and an air filter.

The electronic control unit receives information about the engine operation from various sensors and accordingly changes the time interval for which the injectors located in the throttle block are opened.

Exhaust system

On all models, the system consists of an exhaust manifold, a front catalytic converter, a rear converter, a connecting pipe between them and a muffler.
